BestCase’s core business originated in the Australian Oil & Gas industry where standards for safety, quality assurance and adhesion to standards are amongst the highest of any industry in the world. We aim to apply those same standards to delivering quality project outcomes to strata managers and owners.
Most providers of similar services come from two backgrounds:
Engineering - which is notoriously expensive, slow and usually does not get the work done onsite.
Commercial Builders - are often conflicted with their advice and not held accountable for their work.
BestCase is different - we have neither the overheads of engineering design consultants nor the conflicts of commercial builders. What we do have is deep experience delivering projects from conception to completion to some the highest standards in the world and we can apply those same values to your buildings / building systems.
Market Positioning
Our market positioning focus is in providing a service that supports owners and strata managers of buildings typically <30 units deliver projects with with certainty of time, budget and quality. We do this by applying methods used in the oil & gas industry for planning and coordinating / supervising the execution.
Capabilities
Projects between $100k - $2m
Inspections and reporting of building and systems condition - some inspections are outsourced to subject matter experts but responsibility is owned by BestCase
Engaging with Owner’s Committee and Strata managers - developing Scope of Work documents that outline scope and communicating time, cost & resources
Planning and managing campaign repair & replacement projects including work that incorporates - ventilation, pumps, plumbing, electrical, lighting, CCTV, tiles, waterproofing, roofing, cladding, painting, cleaning, waste management, lifts, fire systems
Managing periodic maintenance activities - e.g. cleaning, inspections and testing of sump pit & pump systems
Quality Assurance - provision of Quality Assurance documentation as a clear deliverable that demonstrates what work has been done to what standard and when
Development and implementation of maintenance and radiality plans that integrate manufacturer’s specifications and compliance standards (AU, ISO etc)
Advise on strategy and tools to manage tenants that damage common property
